Case Study — BNL Family DSA
BNL FAMILY DSA iPad Application
A touch-first iPad application built in Vue, with a bold visual style designed to feel precise and innovative.
The problem
The brief called for an iPad-based interactive application, built in Vue, with no existing component foundation to work from. It needed a clean, modern visual style — a blue gradient background, large confident headline type, and a smooth 3D graphic — that together conveyed a sense of precision and innovation on first touch. Every screen also had to hold up under touch interaction: a clear visual hierarchy and navigation that could guide someone through the content without any onboarding or instruction.
The approach
- 01
Built the application in Vue, structuring it as a touch-first iPad experience from the ground up.
- 02
Animated and developed a clean, modern visual style — a blue gradient background, large confident headline type, and a smooth 3D graphic — to convey a sense of precision and innovation.
- 03
Established a clear visual hierarchy across every screen, sized and spaced for touch interaction rather than mouse and keyboard.
- 04
Built navigation elements that guide the viewer through the content intuitively, with no onboarding required.
Outcome
- Reduced rebuild risk — the library now has a clear, documented ownership trail.
- Clean handoff path — any team can pick up the codebase without reverse-engineering it first.
- Increased productivity by 50% by creating reusable components and buttons and reusable animation components.
